Hi Ron,

My bad. She was born on 23-Dec 1912 not 1923. Data is from SGGEE website.

I have also found a lot of Hannis, that had moved to the Novograd Volhynsk area. I believe his father (Friedrich and his wife: Pauline nee Ott) also had moved there before around 1900ish.

Do you know, if this was part of Volhynia was Austria-Hungary back then?

Hanis Else 15-Nov 1901 Wischnjakowka Friedrich Pauline Ott 28-Nov 1901 Wischnjakowka Novograd Volynsk Ludwig Fandrich Karoline Radke NOV 1904 (ZHI fond 67/8/36) 8 56

Hanis Erna 6-Apr 1907 Wyschkowka Friedrich Pauline Ott 14-Apr 1907 Wyschkowka Novograd Volynsk Gustav Rosin Mathilde Rosin NOV 1907 (ZHI fond 67/8/39) 133 1171

I have a strong feeling, these were his parents, as odessa 3.org places them to Heimthal, where they got married in 1883.

Emil was born there in 1886, and in the 1916 expropriation index, his father's name shows as "Friedrich".

It seems that almost all the Hannis family members had left Heimthal area and had moved to the Novograd Volhynsk except him (or did he move back to Heimthal from there?).

Thanks so much again for checking!

Manuel
