My father's sister, Justine Frank was the wife of Emil Eisbrenner, the family in Michigan. They both grew up in Franklin Municipality of Manitoba and moved to Michigan I believe in the 1920s. A brother, Christof Frank had moved there earlier.

Unfortunately I do not have much information about these Eisbrenners as my focus has been on the Frank side of the research. When I get home from work tonight, I will go through my files to see if I have anything else to contribute. I am however, going from memory, almost positive that Emil is a nickname used for Emanual and will try to confirm that from my files.

I would guess that every Eisbrenner still living in Manitoba (see http://www.whitepages.ca ) would be connected to this family. I know with certainty that Wally Eisbrenner still listed as living in Morden, Manitoba is connected as he was at one time postmaster in Rosenfeld where my Frank family lived. He must be quite elderly by now, perhaps well into his 80s.
