Hello Anni,

coming to the Michigan-Eisbrenners, the open point No.3 of your last posting. You wrote that you didn't find a link to them, except the fact, that their origin is in Volhynia. Perhaps you can show up, what is wrong with my following pedigree reconstruction?

I have:

Johann EISBRENNER and Julianna SCHULZ had many children. Among them Emanuel, born 23.02.1890 in Walentynow (LDS 2380021/1890 27 211).

According to US-SSI 368-16-9997 there was an Emil EISBRENNER (* 23.02.1890, + Aug 1971) in Michigan. I am aware, that Emil and Emanuel are two different names, but as the DOB matchs, I assume(d), that he is the above mentioned son of Johann and Julianna and accordingly brother of your grandfather Julius.

For me this is(was) one link to the Michigan Eisbrenners.

Further on - now it's getting more speculative, as the groom's parents are not mentioned in the online marriage index of Franklin, MB, Canada:
Emanuel Eisbrenner oo 26.05.1913 Justin FRANK (registration no. 1913-025059).

This leads to an obituary for Emil EISBRENNER (* 14.06.1925 in Watervliet, MI, USA, + 06.12.2006 in St. Joseph, MI, USA), son of Emil EISBRENNER and Justine FRANK (http://www.tributes.com/condolences/view_memories/79158147#1605427).

That's it for now. Hopefully I didn't mix up different pedigrees. I am curious about your replies.

Kind regards
Jörg
