Hi!

I am still desperately looking for any information regarding the family KWITT from Kolonie Maximowka, Heimtal parish.

Father:
Eckhardt (WW I German soldier)(date of birth and place of birth unknown suspected to be Germany)
Mother:
Ida (date of birth and place of birth unknown, suspected to be Germany)

Children:
Friedel (SS Soldier)(year of birth estimated to be around 1922/23)
Olga (neè Kwitt) (year of birth estimated to be around 1925/26)
Rudolf (drafted into Hitler-junged 1944) (date of birth 13 October 1928)
Albertus (SS soldier) (year of birth 1930)

The children attended the Volksshule in Maximowka. The family owned a farm in that district, farming Cherries and cattle. It was sold after the death of their parents, by Olga -both parents died before the WW II outbreak.

Friedel and Albertus killed in action during WW II.

Rudolf was taken prisoner by the Russians and set free by the British on 4 March 1946. He finished his apprenticeship in Bottrop (Westphalia) at S. Blotevogel.

Olga was studying to be a doctor before the war broke out and she was used in the medical field during the war. After the war ended, the last place she was known to be was in East Germany.
