I don't have exact information on Michael Meister's death. However according to his two sons' (Daniel & Emil) US emigration files, Michael was still alive in 1911 and 1912. By the time his other son Wilhelm got an EWZ file in 1944, Michael was dead. It is a large gap but maybe there is more information to find.
