I can't imagine any (german) first name that correspond with "Bleida", if not Blandine/Blondina? My grandmother's name was Blondine (*1891 +1984) and I think she was called "auntie Blonde" by some family members. I've never met her, she died in Kazakhstan.

Since it is common in Russia to name a person with first name + patronymic + surname I thought your grandmother may remember Leonard's father. But then, you might have to go to the archives in Siberia and look, if there is any dokument (marriage certificat, death certificate) mentioning Emilias father with his full name.

Unfortunately, there is no entry for the marriage of Leopold MAYER and Julianna HAUPTSTEIN. The church books have many gaps. That's why we do not find Emilia's birth entry either. I do not think that Emilia was an adopted child.

Although there is no possibility to proof a connection at this time, I would like to mention that there is a Leonhard MEYERT in the Rozyszcze books.

Using various sources it was easy to trace back Emilia's mother. Julianna HAUPTSTEIN was born 1867 in Modła (near Konin, Poland).

There are more children, of course. Two of Julianna's brothers moved to the Lublin area. You will find their marriages in the Lublin books, which were indexed by SGGEE members. Go to Trinity Lutheran Church - Lublin to search the database.
