I suppose my grandmother doesn't remember about Leonhard's father because she is very old. Grandma lives in Siberia but I live in Saint-Petersburg. For this reason my mother and other relatives try to ask her about past. She lost any documents about parents. Grandma was confident that surname of your mother was Maert. I think this is due to Emilia was teen-ager and she didn't remember a lot about your family. Although My grandma knows about her auntie. She said that her name was Bleida or Bleide. I don't know but it might be name or surname. She remembered that Bleida could speak and write german. And Emilia spoke with her in german.
When Emilie got married she joined her life with Russian culture. And gradually she was forgetting her family story. Although grandma said that in the beginning Emilie was in touch with relatives. But everything was lost and forgotten.
In times of Second World War many people concealed their german ancestry. Even it was forbidden to talk about it with children. I am glad that grandma could remember about Emilie's father and Maksimilanowka. Unfortunately we can't find any information about Emilia in Kantosratsbuch. I try to find some information about when I'll go to Siberia. I would like to visit archives. Recently I've written the list of questions for my grandma about auntie Bleida and her family, about Emilia's brothers, about Emilie's date of birth and others. Grandma is still thinking about it and trying remember something. I am waiting for her.
I am interesting in what happened with Leonhard if he didn't leave Russia.
Is there probability that Emilia couldn't be fixed in books of birth in Maksimilianowka? We supposed Emilia could be adopted child by Leonhard.

Beside I wrote in police department of Frediricktown (Ohio) where Marie Meier Shilling lived. I asked about her relatives if they live there. I don't have hope that they asked me but I didn't know where I could ask about it. I would like to tell them about our research.
