I did find Leo's mother Alda BRANT MEIR who remarried in 1941 with Norman Samuel SHUPE.

Norman died 23 Aug. 1973 in Brothersvalley and is burried on the same cemetary like Alda's first husband, Adolph MEIER.

There seems to be a grave stone for Alda as well.

However, Alda died in Warren, Ohio, 13 May 1991.
