It seems to be that Manos is a mistake in writing or reading in the past.
It might be Maron

In the odessa I´ve found
Manon, Ferdinand oo 9 Feb 1878 in Roshischtsche Sommerfeld, Christine

but all their children were written as Maron

On Ellis Island I` ve found Rudolf Maron arrived in 1914 New York
he is 22 years old his wife called Auguste...
Does it sound familar to you ???
