Hello Irene, it's always exciting to see another message posted to a thread I started so many years ago.

My father was born in this village Chromolin and I have been researching what happened to the people from this place. My father emigrated to the USA but I have connected with others who went to Luxembourg, Australia and Germany. I would be interested in learning more about the Kelm/Shishko family experience in Chromolin and through the war. I have come across a "dorf bericht" from Annette in Volhynia that details the transport from Chromolin to Annette in 1942.

My family traveled separately from the other villagers in 1943 and it's been my goal to find out what happened to them.
