if you are looking for relatives it makes more sense to use the forum rather than writing privately. How do you think to get in touch with relatives living in Brazil if you do not use the internet? Furthermore, it seems more logical to me to use brazilian web sites, bulletin boards, forums, whatever, if you are looking for relatives in Brazil.

There was, however, someone from the SCHIEWE family who had posted in this forum in 2005, Paulo Ricardo Schulz. He seems to have a copy of the same document you sent me. Probably, you will not be able to understand all he had written in "German". It is difficult to get the meaning even for someone who's mother thongue is German.

Than, you may also write to Carlos Cesar Hennig, who posted within the same thread. He lives in Brazil and might be able to give some advices on how to find relatives.
