Ziemlich verfahrene Situation, wie mir scheint...

Schreib' ihm doch einfach mal einen netten Brief, in welchem Du ihm Dein Anliegen erläuterst und ihm mitteilst, dass Du Dich gerne einmal mit ihm unterhalten möchtest und dass Du ihn deshalb demnächst einmal anrufen wirst.
Was hast Du zu verlieren...? Mehr als Dich abwimmeln oder sich verleugnen lassen kann er nicht. - Aber zumindest hättest Du die Gewissheit, dass Du es zumindest versucht hast ;-)
