Georg Schmidt and Dorothea Krueger

Greetings dear friends,

I have been in contact with the incalculable help of members of the group to trace the origins of my ancestors in Wolhynien, and I am very grateful. Very important information has been clarified to know more about my ancestors and, in this region, that we are so interested.
At that moment I am in search of the parents of my great-grandfather Paul Schmidt (Georg Schmidt and Dorothea (Krueger) Schmidt).

- Georg Schmidt was born between 1881 and 1883.
- Dorothea (born Kreuger) Schmidt was born between 1876 and 1878.

I believe they were married between 1900 and 1902, since Paul Schmidt, his eldest son, was born on 30/11/1902 in Malewanka and was registered in Rowno. The couple's second daughter, Emilie Schmidt, was also registered there in 1907.

Questions:

Were they both born in Wolhynien too? Did they marry in the region or emigrated from another place?

In 1927 the whole family moved to Brazil, but before that they settled in Barten, Kreis Rastenburg, where the youngest daughter Martha was born in 1920 and later in Hagen, Kreis Police, today Tatynia in West Prussia.
