Leonhard Konschak

Hello Irene,

Thank you very much for your reply. I had located only a second marriage record of Pauline Schulz, so I concluded that one of my hypotheses about the origin of Leonhard Konschak no longer made sense.

Hypotheses:

1 - Martha Konschak had married a relative, a cousin perhaps, who was homonimous of his father, Gottlieb Konschak, so it had maintained the same last name. Then she was widowed and married to Paul Schmidt in her second marriage.

2 - Martha Konschak was a mother before marrying and her father Gottlieb Konschak had named her son Leonhard Konschak, but if Gottlieb died before Leonhar's birth in 1915, that possibility fell to the ground.

The information of a first marriage with a person named Gottlieb Konschak, appears in Martha's certificate of completion. She died in Brazil in 1974, but Brazilian civil records, especially those relating to foreigners, are not very reliable in their exact content, do you understand?

I located a small record information on the birth of Leonhard, the document is recorded as produced in Roman I, but makes mention of another place of birth. As I do not have much geographic knowledge about the German seats in the region, I have not been able to decipher the place. How can I send image of this document to be helped and also help build knowledge with information about this time gap in the documentation? Thank you very much in advance.

Regards,

Fernando Schimidt
