A great-grandmother of mine was Wilhelmine Wendland (nee Dusdal), who was born in "Tshiso, Poland" in 1864. She died in Gr. Sausgarten, Kreis Pr. Eylau, East Prussia in 1938.

Dusdal is certainly an uncommon name. I have not done much research regarding her family, however back in 2004 I apparently posted this:

"I just came across a listing on the Marriage Records of Volhynia 1880-1885 for Friederich Wendland and Wilhelmine Duwe that took place in Zhitomir Parish. I have a Friedrich Wendland who married a Wilhelmine Dusdal, in the period and possibly in the Ukraine. I know this may be streching it a bit, but could Duwe be an alternate for Dusdal?"
