I am sorry Elisabeth but I do not know about the procedures or costs to research the EWZ in Berlin. My families migrated to Canada from Volhynia before 1900 so the EWZ records are of little direct use to me.

People that want to research the EWZ in North America use a copy of this material kept on microfilm at the Library of Congress in Washington. Also, the Mormons have a partial copy (they do not include the Antraege).
