In response to the question of why not a single "Mincho" Minchau etc. is not among the lists of St. Petersburg files is that the name took on additional variations. I have found members of various Mincho families in the EWZ files spelled as "Moench", "Muench","Minch" and "Münch". It seems we must be creative when searching for variations of spellings.

Regarding Astrid Mincho's search, we are quite certain that we are connected by the same family. In a few weeks we hope to solve the mystery when we meet in Cologne. With the addition of these variations in spelling perhaps we will hear from other families connected to ours.
