To accompany my search for more information regarding the Schieman(n) Family from the time they left their farm near Ludwikowka Vohlynia and moved to Gerwischkehmen East Prussia, I would like to track my father's military service. He was a soldier in the German Army, seeing service both in East Prussia at Tannenburg and in Romania. He did his national service training with his regiment at Konigsberg in 1913 and was called up in 1914. I may be able to obtain his Regimental number if this would help. If anyone has information on how this search can be initiated, I would be most appreciative.
