Thank you very much Gerhard for this listing of FRANKs in Volhynia. Unfortunately, as far as I know, none are related to me.

I would like to find more information about the following families as I think they might be related.

1. Heinrich FRANK born 23 Dec 1881 to Gustav FRANK and Wilhelmine MANTEI at Anieluwka near Derazno. I have no other information about this family. I believe that this Gustav is probably a brother of my grandfather, August. If so, he was born 02 Dec 1851 at Mokro Niemieckie, Gostynin Parish, Russian Poland.

2. Auguste FRANK born 4 May 1882 to August FRANK and Anna HAENSEL at Dombrowka near Derazno. Also Julius born 30 May 1877 to the same parents at Anieluwka. This August is the brother of my great grandfather, Krystof. August and Anna married 24 Nov 1861 at Mokro Niemieckie, Gostynin Parish.

3. Julianna FRANK married 31 Mar 1885 to Friedrich BUSS, place and parent names not known. She might be the daughter of August Frank and Anna Haensel above, born 1865 at Mokro Niemieckie, Gostynin Parish.

I have no idea what happened to these families. They might have come to North America but, if they did, all contact was lost. They may also have ended up back in Germany but again no contact was maintained. If anyone has additional information, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

your posting on wolhynien.net was very interesting, because my researches about the families of "Frank" were similar to your descriptions or rather to your researches. The father of my wifes grandmother, named "Frank Heinrich", had one brother and three sisters. It seems to be, that the brother which name was "Frank Julius", moved to Canada before 1920. We dont know anything about his whole life before and after his emigration.
One of these three sisters, was called Augusta Frank. It seems to be, that another one of these three sister has moved to Argentina.
About the third sister we do not have any information and we also do not know the names, of the last two sisters.
The descendants of "Frank Heinrich" and "Frank Augusta" are living since 1990 in Germany.
The father of these siblings was named "Frank August".
So the persons you searching for, are similar to those we are searching for.
I am not quiet sure, if these are the same persons we are searching for.
Do you have any new information about the persons you had searching for?
