I can confirm my late father came from Lubarska Huta (known as Lubhuta locally), which is close to Chutor Wasilewsky near Shitomir. Don Millar has found a 1915 Polish map that shows the village. Today, Lubhuta is just a few buildings, but is still there.

The best news is that I now have many, many new relatives, including a half-sister I did not know about. I am hoping to be able to visit Ukraine sometime, possibly next year and maybe even with Don Millar.
