Ein Etwas über historische sache.
seit 1800 wo meine vorheren noch in Gostynin-
Warschou , gelep haben sind die eitragenne in die evangelische Kirche
von alle in Polische oder russische sprache, aber vielle jahre spater
in Wolhynien vider in Deutsch eingeschrieben, Kann mich jemand helfen warum das?

Most records filmed by the Mormons are Civil records collected by the churches on behalf of the government. They are in Polish until 1867 and then Russian Cyrillic after that.

Because these are civil records, it is possible that Lutheran Germans registered at a Catholic Church before the Lutheran one was established in the region.

Some early records from the Lutheran Churches are in German (example - Ilow). Some early Catholic records are in Latin.
