Martin Bohn and Pauline Jede

Hello
I am researching my great grandparents:
Martin Bohn (born 1885 in Michalowka, Luck-died 1945) and
Pauline Jede (born 1887 in Jadwinin, Wladimir- died 1955 in Germany).
What I am looking for and can’t seem to find is their marriage record. First child Olga Bohn was born 29 January 1907 in Michalowka. So one would assume they were married just before that but I can’t find any record.

Hello Rachel
It might be possible that their marriage was in Wladimir. There are no marriage records available for that year. The Archive in Luzk has only copies of that records.

That’s too bad they aren’t online but good idea to write the Lutsk archive. Any tips for when I write? I see they have the duplicate for 1906 and not 1904/05. Fingers crossed my great grandparents were married in 1906

Hallo Rachel,
es gab keinen Grund für eine Heirat in Wladimir Wolynsk! Sowohl Familie BOHN als auch Familie JEDE lebten im Kirchspiel Rozyszcze (JEDE seit 1889). Leider ist die Heirat nicht zu finden in den Kirchenbüchern von Rozyszcze.
Die SGGEE hat die Kirchenbücher indizieren lassen, die sich im Archiv Luzk befinden, einschließlich der vorhandenen Bücher aus dem Kirchspiel Wladimir Wolynsk. Auch in diesen Büchern keine Heirat BOHN & JEDE! Es bringt dir also nichts, an das Archiv zu schreiben, sie werden nichts finden. Tut mir leid.

PS: Da du auf Englisch schreibst und du Mitglied der SGGEE bist: warum benutzt du nicht die Mailingliste der SGGEE für deine Recherche?
