My great great grandfather was a Roman Gissel with two brother that we know of Otto and Leopold Gissel. I am doing a lot of Gissel Research but it is difficult with the barriers of language and country. Roman's fathers name is suspected to be Gustav Gissel. Roman was born in Kiev Ukraine. He came to America in 1910. I have a lot of old documents from the Gissels but they make little sense.
