There simply is no such place as Stoppe Kale in Volhynia nor elsewhere in Russia. The best source of information is some paperwork that shows a place name. A passenger list, an old birth, marriage, or death certificate, naturalization record, etc. Also keep digging within your family for a maiden name of the mother. If it matches something in the database which Gerhard mentioned, then you know you have the right family. Also finding the names of older siblings might help.
