Strikow is a short distance NE of Lodz. I could not find Stokow in the area but the region would have been part of the Zgierz or Ozorkow parishes.

Antonowka(im Lentschutz-Bezirk)
I could not find an Antonowka by Lentschutz. Lentschutz was probably the parish if the village was close by.

Barnshna(in der nähe von Stawschin)
Again I cannot find a place called Barnshna. Stawschin was probably the parish if the village was close by.

Melinec(in der Nähe von Bawiak)
Bawiak should be Babiak. This place would be in the Babiak or Sompolno parishes.

Two things are very important.

1. Get the original Volhynian microfilms first to confirm the information I provided. My information was from an extraction. It is possible that there are errors.

2. Some of the Lutheran Parishes did not start until the 1820s or later. If you find that in your research, you may have to locate the nearest Catholic Church to find the registration. These were civil records collected by the churches. Even though your ancestors were Lutheran, they may have been obligated to record their information at the Catholic Church. For this reason, it is very important to try to determine the correct village name.

One way to try to establish contact with North American cousins is through the SGGEE mailing list http://www.sggee.org/listserv. If you have an old address, include that information in your message. It may help.
