I have found that "Textor Family" research before, and it is very useful.
It has lots of information on the Sommerfeld line from a long time ago.
It looks like the SGGEE is the source for a lot of that research.
Is the SGGEE website easy to navigate and to search for records?

In the SGGEE-database (only for members) the husband of SOMMERFELD, Ida has the name GLOMBOWSKI, Rudolf * 01.03.1895 Lotzan, East Prussia. Reinhard is the son.

Adolph heiratete seine Frau Ottilia am 27.07.1912 Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Leider fehlen mir weitere Daten von ihr. Wann und wo ist sie geboren? Wie hießen ihre Eltern? Im Heiratsdokument von 1912 kannst Du dazu die Antworten finden.

My Sommerfeld ancestors all moved to Canada from Topcza in Volhynia.
Adolph Sommerfeld(t) was my Great Grandfather.
My Grandmother (his daughter) is still alive, and I would like to share some family history with her.
I have found Adolph's Hamburg passenger record, so I do have some supporting documentation regarding his immigration to Canada.

Please notify me if you know about this Sommerfeld family, or even if you know about his wife, Ottilia Besler (Bessler?) (Beazler?).

I also am interested in the history of Topcza.
I will do my best to translate German using Altavista's Babelfish.
